[S8E2] Armageddon, Part 2

Wallace also revealed that Iris' time sickness will be dealt with after "Armageddon", and that solving it is "a huge, huge part of the entire season, and it will take all season to solve that. And that will have big ramifications for Barry and Iris' relationship and marriage."[55] In March 2022, Wallace confirmed that in writing the season finale, "it all gets resolved by the end of season 8, so we can start fresh and clean, should we, knock on wood, be able to have the privilege to do a season 9", while also writing two endings.[13] Wallace also revealed that Nora West-Allen's sexuality will be acknowledged this season.[56]

Lia is a Canadian fan of the Flashes and the Rogues. She's particularly interested in memorabilia of the Rogues and Reverse Flashes, collecting art, and memorizing a whole lot of pointless trivia. She may be the world's only diehard fan of the Top due to a love of hopeless causes, and she runs a fan blog on Tumblr, known as gorogues or The Rogues Kick Ass.

Barry Allen is a Central City police forensic scientist with a reasonably happy life, despite the childhood trauma of a mysterious red and yellow being killing his mother and framing his father. All that changes when a massive particle accelerator accident leads to Barry being struck by lightning in his lab. Coming out of coma nine months later, Barry and his new friends at STAR labs find that he now has the ability to move at superhuman speed. Furthermore, Barry learns that he is but one of many affected by that event, most of whom are using their powers for evil. Determined to make a difference, Barry dedicates his life to fighting such threats, as The Flash. While he gains allies he never expected, there are also secret forces determined to aid and manipulate him for their own agenda. (source: www.imdb.com)

There's very little doubt that since it first aired on the CW, The Flash has tried to set itself apart from the other long-running Arrowverse series, Arrow by taking a more upbeat tact. While Oliver Queen and company were living in a city that was one step away from descending into total chaos - and it did just that from time to time - Central City is brighter and cleaner and the show's tone has largely echoed that appearance. Over the years there's been lots of talk about how hope and friendship can overcome everything. Season 8 Episode 2 plays on that upbeat hopefulness by showing that there aren't many people on the usual gang of do-gooders who actually believe that. 041b061a72
